holiday season affirmations

12/2/22

hello cherubs! the holiday season is in full swing & speeding by. with this time being busy, chaotic, and full, we must remember to reflect inward and appreciate our bodies that are taking care of us and trying to keep up with this busy season.

  • my life is gift

  • my presence is the best gift to others

  • my time is a gift

  • my experiences are life's gift to me

  • my talents are gifts to others

  • sharing my gifts with others is a blessing

  • my ability to help others is a gift

here are some helpful affirmations I've created that could be helpful:

  • I am allowed to remove myself from situations that become too much

  • l am allowed to rest

  • I can say no to experiences that don't interest me

  • I am able to control my emotions

  • my feelings are valid, no matter the circumstances

and because I am not very original, I found some affirmations from Zanna Keithly, blogger on Pinterest:

  • I will be gentle with myself today

  • in the face of worry and anxiety, I choose gratitude and faith

  • I am safe and supported, rooted in this present moment

  • I allow myself to take things one moment at a time

  • my pre scene is a delight to others

  • it is safe for me to be my authentic self

  • I have power to control my emotions

  • every single part of me is worthy of being loved and respected

affirmations are something that I never realized could be so helpful. creating a way to incorporate them into your daily life will offer significant changes. you should try it!

the best way to incorporate affirmations is getting sticky notes and stick them everywhere! anywhere you see often. the bathroom mirror, your dashboard in the car, the coffee pot, anywhere!!

affirmations fire up neural pathways and make changes to areas of the brain that make you happy and positive. they can decrease stress, reduce anxiety, and improve mood.

the best way to bring these affirmations into daily life is by making them part of your routine for 21 days. 21 is an arbitrary number that is short enough for people to feel like they can accomplish, but long enough where the habit normally sticks by doing it for that long.

this is the perfect time to start such a helpful habit. it will lead us right into Christmas time & help us becoming more present, happy, and fulfilled.

I hope that you take on this adventure with me and post your affirmations to the Facebook page each day! <3

I hope you guys enjoyed this blog! ill see you in the next one(:

xx Loryn
