hey cherubs,
this week we are going to be discussing feelings.
feelings are an emotional state or reaction.
some common feelings are:
this may seem like a lot but most of our feelings stem from the 7 common feelings:
bad
fearful
angry
happy
disgusted
sad
happy
surprised
all following emotions stem from these.
take a look at the wheel and pin point one emotions that you identify best with at the present moment.
what makes you feel that way?
what experience does it remind you of?
if it's a good emotion, how can you remain in this state?
if it's a bad emotion, how can you make it better?
feelings aren't always bad. we must feel things in order to live life. the key is to be able to remove ourselves from the bad feelings and picture ourselves in the good feelings.
if you are someone that deals with feeling too much, it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with you. most likely, you overthink which means you care. you constantly worry about everything going on in your life, so much so that it becomes overbearing.
feeling too much can lead to mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and more.
it is important to catch these things early on instead of waiting until it's too late.
if you feel like you have an sensitivity to all the feelings you experience, reach out to your doctor and let them know. they will help you figure out what is best for you in order to feel 'normal' again.
remember, always take care of you. you can't help others without helping yourself first.
see you guys in the next one,
xx Loryn
