what is brave but soft?

hi there!

if you're new here, my name is Loryn and I am the creator of brave but soft!

brave but soft is a blog-based mental health advocacy which I am using to bring awareness and to break the stigma of mental illness. my goal for this blog is to reach as many people as possible, whether dealing and/or struggling with a mental illness or not, and to either teach them about different mental illness or help them thrive through their struggle.

another one of my goals is to show people that nothing has to be 'wrong' for you to go to therapy. I myself have been through therapy (not extensive, so I am by no means an expert) but I hope to show people that therapy is healthy and there doesn't have to be a certain reason for you to go. therapy is something that is for everyone and isn't some thing to be ashamed of, which I myself had to learn.

overall, I just want to give people a space to come and join each other and form a healthy community that shows love, grace, and kindness.

no one should be alone in their mental struggles. having someone (whether it be online or in-person) to talk to is so relieving and important to maintain a healthy mental status.

lastly, if you or someone you know are struggling with a mental health disorder, please reach out to someone you trust or make an immediate appointment with you personal care doctor.

anyways, I hope that you stick around and enjoy!!

xx Loryn
